A guitar that sounds like one
Natural strumming
Drag fast for a loud, tight strum or slowly for a soft one. Strum near the bridge to palm-mute, use two hands on a touchscreen, bend strings by dragging across them and slide along them.
Chord library
Major, minor, sevenths, sus, add9, diminished, augmented, power chords and more in every key, from open shapes to barre chords up the neck, with finger numbers on each diagram.
Progressions and patterns
Pop, blues, jazz, rock, reggae, folk and more, transposed to any key, played with down-up strums, chucks, reggae skanks or Travis fingerpicking over a metronome, with swing.
Tunings, capo and scales
Drop D, DADGAD, open G, open D, half-step and whole-step down or your own tuning; a capo from 1 to 12; any scale, mode, pentatonic or blues scale drawn on the neck.
Record to tab
Everything you play is written as guitar tab with hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, bends and palm mutes. Copy it as text or download a WAV recording or a MIDI file.
Tips for playing a virtual guitar
Strum with your wrist
On a phone, hold a chord with one hand and drag across the strings with the other. The faster the drag, the louder and tighter the strum.

Number keys pick chords from the chord bar, Space or J strums down, K strums up and L plays a muted chuck. Hold Shift to palm-mute.
Find a song's chords
Fret notes on the neck and the chord name appears above it. Turn on a scale to see which notes fit a key.
